Is There A Light In The Glove Box?
#44
Instead of a glove box light and a single yellow glowing "dome" light, we have now advanced in time and have map lights that work well enough. The tinted top of the glass is replaced with the far more attractive dot pattern. The under hood light is completely useless in most cars/trucks I have seen if your doing more than testing if the light actually works. The trunk release is on your key fob, I still don't get why anyone would want one in the car, the key fob is much easier, not to mention 9 times out of ten when I had my car with a trunk release, hood release and gas door release, I'd end up opening all three trying only to open one. And finally most cars no longer have a passenger key lock, I prefer it that way and have actually never used my key to open any of my doors, I just use the remote.
The map pockets are a waste, I agree whole heartedly on that. The glove box is small but holds everything I need in it. It would have been nice to have pockets behind the seats. The cup holders are ugly and in the wrong place, I honestly don't know how anyone could comfortably drive a manual in traffic with anything bigger than a 12 oz. soda can in there. I've never seen another car with cup holders behind the shifter. I wish they had a cover too, like I had in my civic. Had a slick little door that hid the cup holders when not in use and I could effortlessly shift even with a tank of soda in there. The cars interrior is missing alot of little nice things but all in all after owning it since dec 04, I have never ever regretted buying this car.

- Helpful at times. I wouldn't mind one.
- Yeah. Something so simple, so easy to add, but NOOOO!!!!!
- 99.999% of the time, I have no use for it. That that 0.001% when you DO need it, you REALLY need it!
- I can't say I have even NOTICED that my car doesn't have one! Can't say I miss it much.
- I wish these **** things were illegal, at least on the drivers side. I've been almost hit by WAY too many people that just can't wait to STOP before they start worrying about how they look! I'm sure they won't look too good after they wrap themselves around a power pole or two.
- What's the point? The government mandated AS1 line is so freaking high up, it would barely qualify as a decoration, let alone as helpful in keeping the sun off you.
