Is There A Light In The Glove Box?
You might be able to put in one of those stick on closet lights but you wouldn't have much room for anything else.
Seriously there is no glove box light one of those little things you do without to have an affordable car with as much power as it has.

You could hook up a couple of small white leds at the top, and have like a self contained battery pack or something to power it, and then a light sensor to turn it on when you open it, or maybe a uv or infrared beam and when it was broken it would turn on the lights. Of course thats only if you're really determined.

I have a little led light that I got at the auto parts store that I use. You actually can stick it, but I did not stick mine.
Congrats on your car.

Hey Donna, any chance of getting a pic?

I am more disappointed that there is no light under the hood.

I remember when I was younger my buddy had a cav z24 and the glove box light stayed on ALL the time, drained his battery numerous times til we found out the culprit. So I removed the ground wire location and light for him. Boy was that thing a pain in the hiney though.
The light in the glove box is just one of the many things that Ford's deleted over the years. You don't notice it when you're shopping but all the nagging little "decontenting" shows up once you start to live with the car. Some more examples, in addition to the glove box light, trunk release and light under the hood, are the passenger door lock cylinder, visor mirrors, and the tinted band at the top of the windshield. I'd gladly pay an extra hundred bucks or two for these things but Ford's decided that we don't need them.

The glove box light is right next to the trunk release button

LOL, got a good laugh.
I did notice this the other night, no light

Also I miss my entry lighting like my tbird had, floor lights, and rear interior lights. To add, Glove box and both vanity mirror lights.
Since were on the subject, a center console light would be nice too.
