Are there any "young" people going for a '05?

I'm 18, but don't have much money at all right now. ($40,000 a year college does that to you). But when I get the chance, I want my first bought car to be a 2005 mustang. At least a v6. Unfortunatly it will have to be used, but the car I drove before was a 1995 Ford Taurus...so it will be a considerable step up.

i'm 25 and getting a v6 premium. I would love to ahve a gt but since i'm just out of college, I got medical insurance to pay for as well as other expenses of living. Guess the GT or SE will have to wait untill I get a solid job lined up.
By the way, for those in my age group who are payign for the car themselves, what are your monthly payments w/ a loan or whatever?

I agree 100% with you! It seems that some are too quick to judge others that they do not know at all!

g05t, now all these old people are gonna start saying how they had a crap car when they started driving or how us kids shouldnt be put behind the wheel of a 300hp car at 17. They're just jealous.

We arn't saying that anyone has said it yet, but it is a common subject for some of the older members to discuss.

And to keep it ""young"" related- this ones going to my kid on her 16th in 4 1/2 years. Then I am getting a brand new one to burn her.

21, black GT. Took out a loan courtesy of USAA so i'll be paying that back as soon as i graduate. Were it not for the military, however, i would be fixing up my old firebird still instead of getting ready to axe her.

I'm 21, insurance costs scared me away from financing so I'll be saving up the rest for about another year I figure... by then... we'll see what's new. All the guys AND girls I've talked to and who have seen the car all say that it's absolutely beautiful... I don't think Ford ever needed to worry about the car not crossing generations at all.
