g05t, now all these old people are gonna start saying how they had a crap car when they started driving or how us kids shouldnt be put behind the wheel of a 300hp car at 17. They're just jealous.
I agree 100% with you! It seems that some are too quick to judge others that they do not know at all!

I hear it all the time, but to the parents I earned it so it doesn't bother me.

I'm 18(will be 19 when I actually buy the car) and I'm getting a 05 V6 premium(check my sig). Unfortunately I can't buy a GT premium until I turn 23 because of my insurance company

Unlike g05t and 2005 Black GT, my parents ARE NOT paying for my car. Everything is coming out of my own pocket and I'm quite proud of that too I might add

I'm 18 and although I can't get the '05 right now I'm getting it as soon as I possibly can. It doesn't really matter the model, although I'd prefer a GT..........Yeah.........a Highland Green GT with black striping...............Man I want that car.

just turned 17 last september...

i just recieved a 2002 dodge intrepid ES from my grandfather in amazingly excellent condition (albeit 100k miles... but new transmission)

I'm hoping to sell the dodge after saving up some more money and making a large enough downpayment on my 05 premium GT (28k MSRP) to lessen to costs of monthly payments over the next 5 years.

thankfully im x-plan eligible, so that should help. Can anyone tell me about how much it would take off the MSRP?

still wondering what insurance would be for an 18 year old male in texas with 05 gt... if i can swing that with the payments then im set!

I would say I'm earning a little more than over half of the mustang on my own, and that is definately something that I am proud of.

I'm 21 and I have a BUILT 2005 Mustang GT that is waiting for me in Flat Rock with my VIN on it!!! My Dad had a '69 fastback with a 302 and a 3 on the floor, and I had a 1995 V6 Mustang but totalled it as I've said before. I'm currently driving my mom's old car which is a 2001 monte carlo SS. Dad wanted this car just as bad as me so he told me he'd get me one, as long as he gets to drive it everyonce in a while!! I have great parents, love 'em.

Who's complaining??? I haven't heard one yet on this thread. When I was 16, my first car was a 87 5.0LX with a 320hp crate motor. My best friends in high school had fast cars, like my best friend now had a 300+hp 97 Camaro Z28 in high school and still is modding it out. So I don't know why you would make that assumption. It's funny how you complain about judging others when you yourself made that statement.
