Can you provide the height of your 255/45/18's? I'm debating on either going with 285/40/18's on 18x10" wheels in a square setup or 275/45/18's on 18x10" wheels also on all 4 corners. I'm looking for whichever would provide the taller sidewall but still able to provide enough wheel well and suspension clearance as well
686,7 mm front, 722,7 mm rear. The aim was to achieve retro look with meaty fitment and same wheelgap on Eibach Pro Kit.

According to your measurements of 686.7mm front, that's approx 27 inches following the conversion of 255/45/18's. If I decide on 275/45/18" tires on all 4 corners, they measure out at around 27.7 inches tall. Therefore if the 275/45/18's provide enough suspension and wheel well clearance in the front, they'll end up as my top choice otherwise, I'll end up going with 285/40/18's on all 4 corners instead. Also, my suspension has the Eibach Pro Kit as well along with Koni sport yellow adj struts/shocks.

Yes, Jim, I have and my wife has always been very supportive and is just as much a Mustang lover as yourself, your wife and I are. Anyhow, I'll be doing the tire/wheel upgrade gradually, rather than all at once, as I'm in no real hurry to replace my current setup which is still in very excellent condition. My only reason for doing another upgrade is wanting a tire with taller sidewalls that can provide a smoother ride quality over my current 275/35/20" Nitto G2's.
My top choices are, Continental Extreme Contact Sport, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 in 285/40/18" or 275/40/18"

Good deal Rocky. You, and I are two of the luckier ones to have brides that understand, and enjoy cars as we do.
BTW, I hear good things about the Conti tires. Many of my Corvette friends run them, and I will say the Michelin Sport tires are quality tires also. I have the Michelin summer tires on my plastic car, and they are leaps, and bounds better than the Goodyear Eagles.
Lately, got my 1st Mustang, a 2009 GT/CS. Liked the car but couldn't live with the "Foose" wheels. In my opinion, Chip Foose is a genius when it comes to overall car and wheel design but the wheels on my car, maybe it's me but I dint like 'em. A shame though because they were staggered with 255/45/ZR18 Nitto NT555 G2's at the front and Nitto NT555 285/40/ZR8's at the rear. The stance was A1.
I found some 2010-2011 Mustang Premium OEM mags, put on new Pirellis, I'm happy. Here are a few pics. Cheers ! Before Before After After

Thanks, 05stangkc. I agree. Had it not been for the chrome theme already on the car - gas door, 3rd brake-light chrome contour as well as chrome taillight accents, I may have chosen satin black modern-ish wheels to go with new style LED Raxiom taillights and a black decklid cover. But I'm quite OK with it as it is. Funny how chrome was the rage not so long ago. It'll probably make a comeback one day. Take care, 05 ! Cheers !

Although I like the Foose wheels, I must admit those 2010-11 Ford OEM wheels have a more/aggressive appearance to them.. Congrats
Guess who's back! About 10 years ago, I had to let her go. She had a few owners during that time, but after all this time, she's back home! The (at the time) current owner found me on Facebook a few years back and always told me if I wanted to buy it back, he'd sell it to me. This summer, I made that happen. He took great care of it, and even added a lot of the things I intended to (supercharger, intercooler, hot rod cams, 3.73s, etc). Looking forward to continuing the modification journey.
