TEIN or EIBACH Lowering springs!?!

What is your personal experience which brand do you prefer?

I noticed all lowering springs drop 1.4/1.6 or 1.4/2.0 but thats not alot (if u measured it) and I've seen mustangs that looks like they dropped more where the wheel well almost touching the rubber. does 2' make a big visual difference in the back though? its $275 and I don't want a slight drop dammit lol

ps. the rear lowering on this stang looks more than 2 inches drop from stock..and description states its a 1.4 drop. by the way i have 18' rims.

those are very nice shots guys thanks, im clearer now, how about the squeaking of springs over time any chance that might happen? what i mean is on my mazda, after 4 years, in the cold if i go over speedbumps the suspension would do a "uurcchh" noise...like its not lubricated

the "uurcccchh" could have been bushings.

No problems w/ mine... Even after tracking it.

The only squeaking I have is from the poly bushings on my LCAs...

They're both good brands. Once the springs settle in a few days they'll lower a bit more. My 1" drop ended up being more like 2", but at the end of the day I love it! Just be careful with those speed bumps. Tein offers the H tech which is less of a lower or the S tech which is cheaper but they will lower more. There is a set of S tech's on Ebay right now for $200 shipped.

Any of you guys install these springs yourself?
If so, can you provide any details, I like to do all my own work if possible.

Thx

I put a few sets of these in over the years. all you needs is a jack some hand tools and a Spring Compressor. It takes abour 3-4 hours.

My friend put on Tein S-tech. He was really happy with the ride and drop. I got a ride in it too and it felt better. Slightly more nimble and stable.

Technically, you can lower on springs alone. Its just a good idea if your budget allows to change out the struts since you're already there and have the springs off.

Here's what American muscle said, do u think it's a genuine advice or a "retailers" advice?

Thanks for the inquiry,
*
*************** Springs are the MINIMUM that you need to lower a vehicle.
*************** To do it safely and properly, you would want/need:
1.****** Springs
2.****** Shocks/struts
3.****** Extended ball joints
4.****** Bumpsteer kit
5.****** Caster/camber plates
Without these other components, you will be wearing through tires, blowing out shocks/struts and blowing out ball joints depending upon the road conditions in your area. The worse the road conditions,
the more quickly you will notice/destroy these components. You can wait to replace everything as it breaks, or you can replace them in advance so they don’t break. The choice is up to you.
*
*************** I would recommend going with Eibach springs and then later(or at the same time) Eibach shocks and struts for the best combination of lower/performance and comfort on a daily driven vehicle.
*
*
*************** I hope this helps, if you have any questions in the future, please do not hesitate to ask. Take care!

Sounds like they're trying to sell more stuff, the bumpsteer and extended ball joints are not REALLY necessary...

Go here instead:

www.stranoparts.com

and get these:

http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=75&ModelID=5

I have their GT ones, they're great.

Then get these:
http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=64&ModelID=5

And this, to recenter the rear end:

http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=79&ModelID=5

You're set. Cheaper, too.

These are optional, but you may need camber correction depending on how low you go:
