i'm 6'6, 320lbs... <-- football player... my only complaint is that the steering wheel wont go up any higher, but i am impressed with the amount of room lowering the seat will give me... it gets really low... needless to say that i am looking forward to getting my car... i am just worried about the clutch on the manual... i wear a size 17 shoe... i hope the feet arent too big...
My size 14 shoes tend to want to scrape on the brake when I use the clutch. It isn't a problem in tennis shoes, but boots make driving a bit difficult. I'm 6'4, 250, and this car is easier to fit in than the 92 T-Bird I used to have, and FAR better than the 2002 GT I sold for this car. To the OP- you'll be fine.

I'm 6'6" 200lb and was in the same boat as you when I ordered my Stang back in 04. I sat in an 04 gt at the dealership and felt like I was in a clown car or my 1991 firebird. When I ferst sat in my new stang I had to move my seat forward to get comfy. And with a size 13 shoe it is no problem rowing though the gear's!!

Happy Motoring

I'm 6'2" and 220 and I was never totally comfortable in my '03. I never did the mod to move the seat back another inch or so. Had I done that mod, then the shifter would have been a further stretch.

The 06 is great, about on par with my 94 T-Bird for room and comfort in the driver's seat or as front seat passenger. The shifter is in perfect position, as are the pedals.

Of course, there's no room for any one in the back seat with me driving.
My only complaint is that without a telescoping steering wheel, I feel like the wheel is a bit too far away for my liking and I can't move any closer. People with long legs will notice this. Its not a big deal, but a telescoping wheel would have been nice.

I'm a dwarf at a mere 5'8" and I'm glad the seat moves far enough forward.

6'2" and fit perfectly. Comfort was #1 with me, and if I wasn't ultra comfortable in this car, I would have passed on it no matter how sweet it is otherewise.....

Whoever said the Fox body had a 6'2" limit needs to re-evaluate that statement.

I've been 6'9" for while and during that time owned two 91 GT's, a 99GT and now my 2005 GT. Out of all of them, the 99GT was the tightest fit.

My 1988 GT (Supercharged, Lowered, Reduced Gear Ratio, etc.) was too tight, so I mounted the seat back 4". It was the best single modification I ever did on the old beast.
My new 2006 is super, and I do like to stretch-out. At your exact height of 6'-3", I did opt for the power seat in the Premium Package, and that (I think) gives you a little more adjustability in the tipping of the bench.

i am sure you all heard about arena football, well i am from philly and they are starting/started a type of minor team for it... So made the team for the Philly outlawz, which is right below the phila soul (bon Jovi's Team) who by the way is a cool hiney dude, met him at a soul practice once. didnt play this season because i want to finish college first... this is my last semester... but next season, you will all be friends with a celebrity...

Nick85, I work security at a big club in center city philly, and i must say that i only really take my anger out down there... and it takes alot for me to really flip to where i will hit someone... boxing for 3 years, i can do some damage... i must say, i love my size, i get respect without even needing/wanting it!!!Some punk started talking smack last week and i charged him, and he screamed to stop... so i did, and he was like, listen i am not even going to try to fight you because i wont win and i am a female dog, so i'll just walk out.... my favorite push over exp. EVER!!!

Sorry about the long post, i just enjoy talking about both football and the club... Later guys!!!

The Arena football team I played for was the Staten Island Xtreme. I was never in staten Island before last year, and in the summer, tons of modified and hot rod cars cruise the streets there.
