What is with these guys? I called the 800 number, and got a tech support guy who knew NOTHING. Before I even got the words out of my mouth (K&N and Mustang and tune) he cut me off and said "I don't know...but if you talked to someone specific here...and they told you we were...then you should talk to them cause I don't know".

me- "well, can you find out for me...or transfer me to someone who knows?"

him- "no, only R&D would know...and they are in a different department and cannot receive phone calls". :bang:

I spend 400 &#$@'in dollars on a tuner...and another 200 on an intake....and I have been jerked arround now for 3 months. WTF. It was obvious the guy knew something, just didn't want to tell me.


I am so dissapointed with Diablosports tech support. And also with Diablosport not coming out with a tune.

 

A shop around the corner from me tried to get me to switch over from my SCT to the diablo. I simply said "Do you know how to tune my car with it" to which they replied "Uh, we really don't know much about it. We are just trying to sell them".

Good answer.....next.

 

I'm just so PO'd that I was told 3 months ago they would have a tune out very shirtly....and now I am told they know nothing about it. I think I need to talk to one of the technicians...and not some dumbarse.

 

Sell the Predator and go with SCT. Their product is first class, the user support is very good, SCT's support is getting better as well ... it will be worth the switch. I hate to see anyone loose money, but we have all been thru this, in one way or another.

I am very seriously considering doing that. I need to research the shops around here...and see who works with which tuner.

 

I switched from Diablosport to SCT. I got poor customer support from Diablosport just as you did. I have the K&N and just as you they stopped me from even asking once they sensed that I was going to ask about it. There was also a lack of Diablosport dealers in my area.

I went with the xcal 2 and I am pleased. There is a bit of a learning curve with it but I keep liking it more and more.

 

Ok, so now Im not sure which one to go with once again, lol.

Best if I call the Dyno shop I plan on using and ask them eh.

 

JBA and DPR know the SCT, JBA say they will do the Diablo but they havent done it yet.

 

With all the threads I have been seeing about folks having issues with getting tunes and info from DiabloSport, it is making me leave VERY much towards the SCT 2. I'll probably break down and order one next week, funds permitting of course!
