I'm going to have to go with neither as well. I think that they both stand out way too much with your red car, especially since you already have stripes. If you're set on going with one though, go with black.

Thank You for your comments. I was looking to do something a little different but in this case different is not better. White is out. Leaving them off is still a possibility.

Looking at the pic again, have you considered chrome trim? I think if you're going to go with some sort of trim for sure, that would be the least obtrusive. The black wouldn't stand out as much if you didn't have the white stripes already, but the chrome might not be too bad.

 

I picked up the Scott Drake ones from Shelby and really like them... They are subtle since they are a brushed aluminum look... I don't know how they'd look on red, but I love them on my white car!
