I wish I lived in NV, not just for that, though. Maybe next year. My vacations this year are already spoken for. But that looks like an absolute blast. 9 mile straights! Nuff said.

Thats It I need to get a trailer for the car and a comfortable tow truck.. Anyone know how well a Range Rover Sport S/C tows..?

nevada gets really hot, especially in the summer. i wonder how my stang would manage, especially while pushing to the the limit.

I'm sure it would be fine, at 110mph there would be PLENTY of air coming into the engine, it should stay cool even with the a/c on!

yeah with the stupid hood fluttering like crazy for the whole race, but that would be worth it

Was near 90 here in chicago when I ran mine at the road course, and the temp guage was climbing to 3/4 hot.

A road course would be different than a long stretch of 100+mph though. Road course would entail lots of high rpm's and lots of WOT. Not to mention slower speeds and less air getting into the engine. Cruising at 100+ in 5th would only require about 1/4 throttle, and the rpm's wouldn't be terribly high.

Was doing over 100 a few times on the track
its a 3.5 miles 21 turn course.
5th gear? whats that for, lol.

Yeah, it would be interesting, but I'm sure the Stang would be fine. When you get into trouble would be lower gears at high rpms. Anyway, I'm seriously considering doing this, making a vacation out of it. That would be an incredible 4 days! Fast cars, desert, speed, car show, cool people, no "man" to hold you down....I'm getting all hot and bothered already!!
