But to tell you the truth, front and back rotations are more important.
good point full front to back and side to side rotation is something that I insist on when considering tires ...

Got the NT555's mounted, balanced, yada, along with a state inspection for $103. Which works for me.

First impression of these tires is that they have more grip than my KDWS's right out of the box (of course, I can't really remember how they felt new about 3 years ago, so...). A little more road noise, but they look awesome, and seem to feel good so far.

Wont do much for overall traction if your switching from all-season to all-season but lateral grip will go up a smidge. For more traction switch to a summer tire and watch forward traction and lateral grip go way up!

I've got the BFG KDW II's all the way around on my car, ride isn't bad (to be expected with BFG's), a bit more noisy due to more rubber hitting the pavement, but grip is excellent. Also ran them on the 07 GT with 255/45R18's all the way around, in combination with the FR3 suspension was good for another 15+mph (60 or so MPH) around this exact on-ramp. The majority (I suppose 75-80%) of the improvment was simply switching to the 255/45R18 summer tires.

BTW Mack, that's the 64 west bound ramp right after Patrick Henry Mall, if your ever that way, let me know how the Nitto's do around the ramp. Its sorta my steady state test road for suspension and tire mods.

Haha, thats funny, I do the same thing on a ramp by me.
Nice new pavement, near perfect circle, and 2 lanes wide. Love passing people up on it with the tires squealing.

Then open er up going under the overpass, Vrooooooooooooooooom!

I need an on-ramp like that... almost all the 270* ramps up here are off-ramps... or VERY busy ramps.

We do have a "dead man's curve" downtown though....

Anyone have any experience with "Continental" brand? They seem to make a LOT of sizes, and have generally good reviews on tirerack.com. I'm still at a dilemma as to what to put on my 18x9 wheels.

I've had a couple of sets of Continentals over the years, and have been very pleased with them. The next set of tires I plan to get for my Mustang are 255/45-18 Continental ExtremeContact DW.

I say rotating tires is way way over rated. I will replace the tires when they need it.

Nice, the 64 on-ramp also joins a feeder road to 64 and you can do the same thing coming off the last kink which is pretty cool if you set the turn up right.

I get a good laugh out of alot of people hustling around that ramp. They hug the inside radius like crazy when the best way to go around the turn after the entry kink is to go in tight, turn wide and tighten it up for the last kink so you have pretty much a straight shot onto the feeder road.

Even better once your on the feeder road like going under your overpass, there is a nice retaining wall that really lets you hear the intake and exhaust. SLP Loudmouths sound great at 6k!
