Suggestions on how to remove this?

Does anyone have any ideas on a good way to remove the carmax decal? It isnt a huge problem, just not something I want on there.

Thanks!

Blow dryer, heat it up and peel it off.

Or you can use a can of compressed air/duster for keyboards and the like. Turn it upside down and it will freeze the adhesive and you can remove it.

I usually use the hair dryer method followed up with some rubbing alcohol or goo gone to remove the glue

I say use heatgun on low, or hair dryer, then peel it off with a fingernail or lightly pick at it w/ something similar to a credit card.

Be careful w/ the compressed air can, it may affect the paint (mar/crack the clear coat)

You live in Phoenix, the only heat gun you need is an afternoon sitting in the sun. It should come right off. Goo Gone will take care of the rest!

Don't melt it, just get it warm. If it melts the job becomes much harder.

The decal looks fresh. It should peel off easy.

The Corvette I purchased had a black Carmax sticker on the back. I asked them to remove it and they did. If I were you I would use the hair dryer method followed by WD-40 or Goo Gone to get the residue.

I sprayed mine with WD-40 & then used my wife's hairdryer on low until it began to melt &then just peel it off, then a cleaner wax & finalize with a good coat of your favorite wax.

Good Luck

I had them remove it before I pulled off the lot, then hit it with some wax after I got home and washed it. Their cleaning crew sucks lol.. also had some chrome trim around the taillight and 3rd brake light that the effed up removing, left all the foam doubles stick tape behind. Used goo gone and blow dryer follwed by wash n wax....good as new.
