Stock Fuel Rail Pressure PSI?

Hi,

What is the PSI for the stock fuel rail on the 4.6L 3V? I am installing new Fore Precision Works fuel rails and want to add a fuel pressure gauge hanging off the 1/8 npt port on the rail, but I am not sure which gauge would be okay to use. Some only goe up to 15-16 PSI and others handle up to 100.

Thanks,

Sean

As a point of reference, my Aeroforce gauges usually show fuel pressure in the 30-40psi range, which is via the OBD.

If I am not mistaken, all fuel injected vehicles are around 35-46 psi.

I'd use the 100. You can also use an oil pressure gauge the label is wrong but they work exactly the same. You can see mine almost dead center of the picture. It is an old Case tractor oil pressure gauge.
