I found out today that I will not be getting my 05 until June orderd 12/28/04 I was told originally 3/31/05. :bang:

It looks like Ford is about to give the shaft to a few people.

please explain this. why would u be getting it in june if there r people in december getting pulled????

I don't know why but many people are in the same boat. I guess it's how big your dealer is, and what your paying. I did find out today that ENCS the military car dealer is giving me rental compensation because I will not have transpotation at my next duty station so all is not that bad.

Ordered 9/27.... seriously.

I don't have it yet, and there isn't a build date scheduled either.

My god. Sorry I'm just finding out that I will be in your boat I hope you get it soon.
There might actually be an end in sight. I contacted every dealership I could find in NJ with a GT on their lot, and tomorrow morning i'm going up to Watchung to hopefully secure a purchase. I'm curious to see if their "never losing a customer to price" policy will hold true when I show them my contract for $500 over invoice made by another dealership.
[/b][/quote]

I considered that but the GT's in the area are not exactly how I want mine to be, so I will suffer for the exact car I want. I plan on having it for awhile and I know even the wrong color interior would bug me after a year or two. Good luck on finding the one you want.

I ordered mine from a pretty good sized dealer, but I cannot understand why the size of the dealer should matter. Shouldn't they put the customer first and just go in chronological order? God I love Mustangs, God I hate Ford.

My original order hits the four month mark this week and it still isn't scheduled. I'm hoping the new order I just placed at a much larger dealer will move more quickly.

Ordered 12/6. Sales Manager says we should have it by LATE SUMMER

Their GT allotment is only 1 a month and we are fifth in line. The NW region is only getting 60 GTs for March. I would jump ship and drive to California to buy one off the lot but I'm locked into price level 515 and I'm paying much less than MSRP.

Advice to all still waiting - find out where you are in line at your dealer and find out what their allotment is. Looking back I should have went to a larger dealer.

Time to complain to Ford about filling Retail orders first regardless of allotments!!

I'm with you all. Ordered 11/01/04 and just got a build date of 3/14/05. Dealer tells me today that I SHOULD have it by the end of the month. If that is correct, 21 WEEKS FROM DATE OF ORDER!!!

Man, you actually had a dealer give you some idea?!?! Lucky you. All I got was, "I... I... I dunno." This after he said, "8 weeks, 10 tops."
