Am I the only person in the United States who hasnt gotten my 05 built yet? I ordered it in December and it is still "waiting to get pulled" so they can give me a build date.

Isnt there a number you can call for a status on the car or something. I head alot of you talking about a "robot lady" or something. Whats that all about?

Im starting to see more and more GT's and V6's on the road and it is just making me more and more impatient. Is anyone else waiting like I am or is it just me?

I'd be careful. There are folks on this board that have ordered way before you and still have yet to make it past C/U.

 

I didnt ask for criticism, I was just wanting some info.

Whats your location or region, the size of your dealer, options for your car, any pricing plans(A,X,etc), it seems following peoples post that these things come into play.

I ordered 12/18, finally got a built date of 3/28. Had to call customer service to find this out.Dealer has told me nothing.

 

11/29/04 and no end in sight

 

I ordered in November.
Got my Dora on the 1st of December.
I actually had dreams of having it in time for Christmas!

No mustang here yet but I think she is on her way.
I hear a rumbling off in the distance. Sounds like
300 horses. I just hope it stops here and is not enroute

I found out today that I will not be getting my 05 until June orderd 12/28/04 I was told originally 3/31/05. :bang:

It looks like Ford is about to give the shaft to a few people.

 

What were you told? (other than the obvious)

 

Ordered 9/27.... seriously.

I don't have it yet, and there isn't a build date scheduled either.

I have attached a copy of the response sent to your agent in reference to your vehicle order. Unfortunately the factory has run into some allocation issues which have delayed production of this model. Basically the demand is higher than the material supply, hence the delay. Since your unit has not even gotten a production slot yet it is most definitely not going to make your delivery date of 3-31. We are currently awaiting to hear from the factory as soon as we do we will advise you as to when you can expect your vehicle. At this point you more than likely wont be able to get delivery until some time in June. I am sorry for this most disturbing news but unfortunately we are all at the mercy of factory and are mandated by there production schedule.

There might actually be an end in sight. I contacted every dealership I could find in NJ with a GT on their lot, and tomorrow morning i'm going up to Watchung to hopefully secure a purchase. I'm curious to see if their "never losing a customer to price" policy will hold true when I show them my contract for $500 over invoice made by another dealership.

 

Ordered on Nov. 15th Have had 3 different build dates since Feb 11th. Car was suppose to be in Feb 15th! It's supposed to arrive the week of Mar 28th. Yeah right we'll see!

I'm order number 8005. How many have gone through already? Over 12,000? It stinks! If you order a car, it sould be done in the order it was recieve, not based on how big the dealer is! Let that be for dealer allocation for the lot. Ford needs to get their ordering system revamped!
