Starting Help 2007 4.6

Car has not been started since mid Oct. Started and ran fine before put away for winter. Thought I would start and get up to temp today. Will not do anything. When I try to start all I get is a low thump from under the car. OK I know all about the dead battery syndrome on these cars when they sit. Battery has been kept charged. However I thought I could still have a bad battery. So I got my Boat starting battery out of my basement and connected. (fresh charge right off the maintainer with 1000 CCA. Same result. Checked voltage at cable clamps 12.7. Scangauge shows 12.65. Any Ideas?? Thanks

First - Pull all or as many spark plugs as you easily can and try to spin the starter again to see if the engine turns over. Don't let it run like that, just make sure the crank turns. I assume you have anti-freeze in the radiator?

Stupid question. Starting usually involves having the clutch depressed completely in order to make sure you don't drive through the garage door. Maybe something to do with switch on clutch pedal. If you have voltage and don't get the started to crank over, check to make sure you have lights and everything else electronically functional. If you do, then I would suggest checking the voltage at the starter. If that is good, then it is either your starter. If it isn't your starter, then it may be something bigger at which point you have a warranty and hopefully can have it picked up.
