Well, at least Ford isn't spreading that crap all over the country.

Oh, I'm sure we'll see a few more regional 'specials' like this;

Same thing as the SDS, San Diego Special. I looked at the window sticker of one of those a while back and for the cheesy sticker stripes a couple of really ugly SDS badges on the side and a piece of paper that said 1 of 200 they tacked on $3,000. I think there is a saying about sucker's and the fact that they are born on a regular basis.
66stang351, what is this I hear about a sucker and the fact that they are born on a regular basis? I have not heard this before, but if you will tell me more about it I will gladly pay you $3,000 above the normal price of this kind of advice
Well they got to do something to sell all those V-6's out there. Most of the dealers around here still don't have but one or two GT's at a time and usually a dozen V-6's. They are marking em up still too. Its a nice looking car but not for the extra money they want.

I've seen these stripes on V6's at a dealership near my house. Didn't look like a SE to me

i think the stripes are the same ones offered as *Dealer upgrades*

Ford is not the problem with cars not moving.
It is the darn greedy dealers that won't deal on the cars.
I can pretty much find any car you would want around here.
Why? because the dealer still have markups on them and they still will not let them go under msrp. You can stick all crap you want on these cars but they still will not sell because of dealer greed.

I agree, this is clearly a ploy to get the V-6 cars moving off the lots. I also agree, that if the dealers would simply make some deals on these cars they wouldn't have to create these SE's.
Hey,
Wasn't sure were to post this, and didn't know if anyone else had seen it?
