Spoiler / wing broke off - help!
A little help please.
Was on the highway and noticed that my wing was flying.
Stopped and went to see and noticed that the hinge broke.
Someone out there hates me.
How do I fix this or should I just buy a new one?

What? How did that happen??? Is this the stock pedestal spoiler that comes with the car standard? If so, get a new one:

$34.99 from Newtakeoff. Can't beat that.

I think the crack happened over time. My wing always rocked a little when closing the trunk.
Yes it is stock but it doesn't look like the ones in the link.
Ill try fixing it but if not ill check more into the link.
Its so bizarre.
You have a V6 I think and that link is for GT wings. They should have the V6 takeoff wings on another page there somewhere. The V6 wings were flatter without the two pedestals raising them up from the trunk more.
It would fit.
For the 05-09 the V6, GT, and even GT500 spoilers all fit any stock mustang trunk lid from those years and use the same holes.
The only question is if there is any 3M tape left over on the trunk lid in any area outside of the mounting holes then it would have to be cleaned off or it would show. But this would need to be cleaned off anyway for the next spoiler to fit properly.
Also the GT pedestal spoiler will expose more of the trunk lid that was previously covered by the old spoiler. So any paint discoloration would be visible.
Anyway. It should all be fine.

I have decided to get a gt500 style spoiler instead.
I've searched about it and saw that a lot of ppl buy from thespoilerstore off of ebay.
I recently emailed him and he told me that the two front holes will be visible and exposed towards the front and that they would been to be filled and repainted.
Is this true with this type of spoiler?
I have a v6.
Can anyone with V6 and this type of spoiler verify this?
