Some 'little' things id like to know
#1
I was surveying my collection of 2005 Mustang multimedia this evening, and a couple questions came to me, that those of you who have been lucky enough to see the beauty that is the 2005 with your own eyes (lucky devils *shakes his fist*) could answer...
1) Is there a visible radio antenna, or is it integrated, i've just recently noticed that more and more cars are not having them visible
2) is the hood of the trunk held up by a rod, or hinged, holding itself up. it's something i have on my 94 LeBaron now (hinges) and it's a world easier to work on
3) 6 speakers on the Shaker 500, 2 subs in the doors, two speakers in the back, 6 unaccounted for, are there two tweeters in the doors above the subs, visibile in the interior shots at Houston show (see the sticky topic above forums) or are they elsewhere
3a) speaking of Shaker systems, has there been any trunk seen that has the Shaker 1000, with the subs in the back, has that been seen by anyone?
4) Additional yet vaguely mentioned/discussed features, one, the optional super duper anti-theft package, has anyone considered this, and will it help at all to keep insurance dollars DOWN? John from Ford Motor Insurance, your input would be great here and two, apparently the message center (in dash, showing tire pressure low and acting as a tripometer) is an option, so is anyone planning on adding this as well
to pass the time, ive yet to see these discussed before (villianous, your 2 cents are welcome too, come back!!!)

1) see above
2) probably like now, held up with presurized rods rather than 'j hinges'
The J-Hinge is very negative on the ammount of stuff you can put in the trunk, and with the type of car it is....I can't see them changing that.
It'll be as it is now...
3) yes there are. Currently in the car, they are mounted by the side mirrors, in the new car they seem to be mounted above the subs in the door (you can see them in the interior shot.
3a) Yes, the Shaker1000 is seen, in fact check brads pics, I"m sure they are there. The subs are located stacked in one very economic and space saving unit..compared to the Mach1000 hugeass boxes
4a) Antitheft...sure I've considered it.. depending on cost. You may have seen the pics with the 'sensors' above the rearview mirror unit.
4b) The message center will be part of the interior upgrade package probably, as it is where the value's for the 'colour changable dash' will be changed. The center is an additional line of text, basically a bigger screen than the regular trip/odometer.
