I don't like it.. It sounds like a old truck.. But if you like it than that's all that matters.

If I do grow tired of it, I might do what you did and add magnflow magnapack to the OTA and make a midmuffler set-up. I am just wondering how much different than regular magnapack axlebacks, which I had before.

Sounds pretty good.. The only thing I didn't like when I had this combo was the flutter sound after revs.. I loved the slp tips though so I left left them on and added the mid muffs

Sounds good. Makes me anxious to put my SLP LM's back on. I took them off for a 9 hour trip to the Smoky Mountains with the wife last year, and haven't put them back on yet. I like the sound of them, and the drone on the freeway isn't bad at all, but it is just a bit much for nine hours straight on the road with the wife.

I know you have hi-flow cats welded in your prochamber, but at the time were you running an O/R prochamber with the SLP or the prochamber hi-flow cats and SLP combo. How much was parts and labor to have the mufflers welded in?

Speaking of old trucks. When I was growing up, our next door neighbor had a 66 Ford F-100 with a 351. That was like my older sister's alarm clock for school when he started it in the morning. That was the best sounding truck I have ever heard.

I should change my first post because I re-added the slp LM tips the same time I did the PMM system..I had stock cats when I ran only the prochamber and slp LMs. I went from flows to slp LMs. Had the LMs replaced with stingers, then had the stingers replaced with the Pypes mid muffler system. I didnt like the PMM tips so I used my LM tips in place of the PMM tips.. So I dont know exactly how much it would be to weld in just the mid mufflers.. I wouldn't pay more than 40$ tho

I called a couple of places. Ed Hanson in Spring Valley quoted me $50 labor for each muffler and Joors muffler in Escondido quoted me $80 labor each muffler.

I am in Escondido CA, so I am about 25 miles away from Temecula. I will let you know when I am ready to have the mufflers installed.
On a side note, there is a cruise to the spectrum in Irvine this Sunday Jan 31. It will be a local mustang club: wickedstangs crusisng with a camaro club. Some people are meeting in Mission Valley around 10:00 A:M and driving down to the mall in Carlsbad to meet the rest around 10:45 and then head out to Irvine.

Today is the first time the wife has been in the car since I added the SLPs. She said it's a lot louder of course I had the windows down. She is concerned that I will get a ticket. I think if I control the throttle, I should be okay. I have had a few cops at different times behind me and have not been pulled over.
