Sirius factory install problem/question
As those who have this option know when you push aux you can scroll from sat1 to sat2 to sat3. On sat 2 and sat 3 I get all 200 channels, but on sat 1 I only get 40-68, and then only 6 channels, mostly hip-hop.
Checked with Sirius...a not so bright rep tried to send an update (which never displayed on the radio) and concluded it is "Ford's problem"
Anubody else have this limitation on sat1?? thoughts/ideas??

Have you made sure your category selection is set to "ALL"? You can limit the category for each group (sat1, sat2 and sat 3) separately. When you hit the seek button, look to see if it says "searching hip-hop" or something to that effect.

Is there a section actually in the manual that shows the operations of the sirius unit. I just installed mine from kc and I would love to get the actual manual section for the sirius instructions. I know it cant be much, but would like to see it if anyone has it. thanks

I'll try to get out and look later today. I did read the manual cover to cover when I got the car about a month ago, and I don't recall there being much about the Sirius....the tip above, for example, is not in the manual, I don't think. I do remember something about instructions for reading your Electronic Serial Number, which must be provided to Sirius to renew your subscription, but I don't think there's much else. Will post back later when I've had a chance to check.

The 2006 F-150 Manual does. Operation is the same:
