Silver or Mineral Gray
#1
Hey guys
Just took a test drive in a Black GT.
This car is EVERYTHING I had hoped it would be.
Only hang up now is the color.
My choices are between Silver or Mineral Gray.
In your opinion....Which one would look better with a spoiler delete option??
By the way -- if any of you have pics of these colors... please post

I have seen the car in person in every color offered. Much to my surprise, I found the car to look best in Satin Silver. Mineral Gray also looks very good on the car, but the lighter satin silver shows the design details of the car better.

Welcome aboard TVstang! If you haven"t done so already, check the timeline section. There are about a million pics of different colors there. I like the silver better but that's just me.

I saw a silver GT and a mineral gray 6 in person. In the past, I would take mineral gray, but on the 05 for some reason, I really liked the silver better.
Wait til you see them both, then pick the one that floats your boat!

Ya know Paul --
My gf said the same thing today -- the mineral grey does look a bit brown.
For me that is a total turn off -- I think I may go with Silver.
Black is sweet -- just a pain in the hiney to upkeep.

This is so funny. I just changed my order today from Mineral Grey to Silver. I changed it because I think it should be called mineral gold. It has too much of a goldish bronze color.
I was going to change to black with white stripes, or silver with black stripes. The only reason I took the silver over the black is because I just had a black truck and needed a color change.

Checked out a silver 05 at my local dealer on Sunday...pretty nice...still I think it is kind of bland, but is the best of the two choices you gave us. I still think the car looks best in black...if you have the time to wash it of course... B)

At first I was disappointed to hear that the silver was not going to be the same silver as the concept car. The satin silver pics I think look pretty bland too. I wanted a silver car not a silver'ish gray car but satin silver is definitely silver and am glad I went with it. I think metallic flake really brings it to life.
Only reason Id go with mineral gray is because there is alot of silver cars on the road..
:drive: :drive: :drive: :drive:
pictures of this car just dont do it justice Period!
I think it looks nice any color

I got my car in last week, and it is mineral grey. First thing everyone says is they love the color. It's a very deep, rich color... and not one you see everyday. I would personally say mineral grey. Just my opinion. There are 10 times more silver Mustangs out there, and a million times more silver cars than mineral grey ones. But, you gotta make your own choice. Satin silver is real nice on this car too.

Mineral grey WAS my first choice but I looked at some explorers with the color and you guys are right. The thing looks tan. Also- My biggest complaint about mineral grey is that the color doesn't seem to shine. It lacks depth and reflection!!!

I didn't like satin silver until I saw it in person,
Mineral grey is not the color for me, I don't like the copper shift, somehow it just seems to looks dirty all the time.
The ideal for a darker grey would have been a titanuium or Gunmetal gray.
