YiiiiPEEEEE!!! Its here. The dealer informed me though that the front bumper has a scratch so I'll have to bring it back on Monday. At least it wasn't me to put the first scratch on her. I'll post some pics later today or tomorrow. I know, I know this thread is useless without pics.

Congrats! I'm hoping to get the call today, about the car, not the scratch

I hope for your sake that the so called "scratch" is nothing more than that. I've gone to pick up a car in the past that was described as an unloading scratch.....and then I find a great big gouge out of the bumper that tore on the unloading/loading ramp. Keep your fingers crossed.....

Using the VOPC 800 number, I found out my car was at the "ramp" Monday. Hoping to get the call today also. Should be driving it home today!
Good luck all!

Get a written life time guaranty on the repair. Most bumper repairs will flake after a couple of years.

John, that is alot more than a scratch IMO. Looks like a chunk out of the lower fascia to me....but I guess this is one of those instances where the dealer says: "We have a little scratch here......barely noticable".

Ok finally got a few pics. The first one is the scratch(s). Turns out you can barely notice them but the dealer has promised to fix them. I love this car!!!!

Did they drill out your front license plate holes or did you??? This is a no-no that I have already instructed my dealer of......DO NOT DO (no front plate for me).

I believe the holes are made in Flatrock, before dealer delivery. I don't believe you can order your car without them.

Beautiful car .. Congrats! My car goes in Dec. 6th to have the scratches in the front
bumper reapired. They said they need the car 3 days. They are to remove the bumper from the car to refinish.

Holes for front plate are not done in flat rock, there might be dimple marks for alignment of plate and drilling later. I will have to look at mine later, if the wife ever brings it home!

Because most of the "truckers" that load and unload couldn't care less. From what I heard from my dealer, the lowest bid won for delivery. Apparently they didn't have enough trucks to really do it right so they are not only behind which is holding up deliveries but they arent' top notch drivers on all of the rigs. I would imagine if they can steer a truck they get hired. (you can probably guess mine was also damaged on the tip of the front bumper along with a couple more delivered at other dealerships from the same truck). I would hope ford does it's homework in the future. Lowest bid is not always the best way to go. Quality should come first (if you were to believe them).
