Very nice!! Let me be the first to give you a nana or two

18" polished rims make the car that much better. Nice choice.

Lookin' good! Agreed, those 18" rims do make the car! Got any mods planned?

Too many planned!! lol!!

Tomorrow i'm lowering it , new wheels and tires, maybe 3.73's, c-l cold air and tuned....then tint, headers and whole exhaust, convertor, fuel system upgrades and 2.6 k-b. By then my new HBH/ Al P. spare enging will get called to action...want to have a good 10 sec daily vert for the wife! Anyone need a set of the polished 18's with 10 miles on them??

I think he's asking why you spent an extra $800 for the 18" wheels if you are going to replace them ($800 that could have gone to the wheels you really wanted)

I was wondering the same thing about paying extra for the wheels. Of course you can probably sell them and make a profit. How much does 4 new tires cost without any wheels?

What you are paying the $800 for is the difference in cost of the 18" wheels. In this case, it was $800 wasted. Those tires sell for $250 each new.

It wasn't in the plan to switch them 2 months ago!!

Things change rapidly here...I build mustangs for a living so that is common place....they might just sit here till I sell the car in a few years.

Awesome car man, if it comes out anything like your Cobra looks/runs, then its gonna be one of the baddest S197s yet.

after living with the new vert a few days I can say this...

I really enjoy this car a ton! It is so refined compared to the previous generation of mustangs....I've driven plenty of them since I modify them for a living but this is my first chance to live with one on an extended basis and really get to enjoy what it offers!! Everyone who is waiting right now rest assured that the wait is definately worth it!! hermann
