if the future you can go to an autoparts store and have them check and clear the codes... my friends work at one and they just bring the reader out tell you the code and ask if you want it cleared... took 3 mins max

Call them...if anything, it will let them know that you "check" your mileage...ask them if just checking the codes involved a test drive? The idea is to let them know that you car about your car and there's nothing wrong with that...this way they'll be on the lookout for you and ABUSE the cars of others who don't say anything...
