The top of the shifter handle (silver part) is starting to peel across the top. Does anyone make a cover or a replacement part?

Thanks! Seems like quite the replacement for just a part that is peeling. Was hoping for some type of cover. I might be able to just glue it back so I'll go that route first. And I've ordered from Rockauto before...good folks.

It's listed as 2010, but pictured is the correct handle for 05-09.

Personally I would swap it for the 2010 handle.

 

I got a new handle fro a ford dealer back east for $39 and this one is all black. Couple questions. 1) the lever on the side that you depress to shift, does that just pull off? 2) do you have to remove the console to get to the connector for the over drive?

 

is there a replacement shifter handle that is longer?
