^ I have one like that on my wall because I took it off . . . never really understood the concept of engine covers, I'd rather see the engine, LOL ;-)
I'd rather not, as the 4.6/5.0 Coyote is just not very pretty. The valley for the coils is a mess, all that naked wiring, the plenum is just meh, and all of it just gets dirty dirty dirty, unless it's a garage queen and/or you clean it all the time. Covers are easier to keep clean, and hides the rats nest. Although, I do have to admit the fuel rail system is quite elegant. The engine is a marvel, but it's purposeful and not very attractive.
A old school carbureted 5.0 can be made pretty. And maybe these things can, but it'll take quite the bit of work without covers. Covers for the win, IMO, if you want good looking.
/Haven't put mine on yet, I wanna paint them one day, but they're gonna happen.
//Covers (siphon with a large amount of negative pressure) when you wanna work on the things though, that I absolutely understand. My Mark VIII back when 'lost' its cover quite quickly.
