:bang: is because I have to wait until September. I Spent three days debating getting the BEAUTY of a 04 Competition Orange GT, but I didn't want to get the regrets when my Eleanor comes out this fall.
So this will be my first Mustang. I have been waiting like crazy for her to get here- I have picked out the windveil blue GT as my weapon of choice, and I intend to pick her up the day she hits the lot.
I spent a while prospecting for the dealer I would purchase from, got that settled, and now I have to wait. UGH!

I am April and I live in Lower Alabama...

 

Congrats, and yes the wait sucks.

But like I said in your other thread, expect to wait to mid October. It might not be that long, but it more than likely will. That way when mid-Sept hits and your car is nowhere in sight you won't be too disappointed.

 

If you don't want to see me on the evening news, then she better be in my driveway by 10/1.
I really don't want to invest another month finding another salesman..

The car dealers who shall remain nameless:
One called me little lady
One told me what I wanted, and didn't listen to what I wanted. (yea right, I want a v6 automatic)
One told me I had to come in that DAY to order the 05..nope
the one I picked so far is doing what I want. And they let me take the ponys out of the stable for a nice little hot rodding trip.

No. I'm sorry, but its just not going to happen. I fully understand what you are saying, because I, along with probably 30+ others on this forum, are planning on order on the 17th as well. However, I do not expect my car to be here in a week or so. I would absolutely LOVE it if it is, but I can almost guarantee I wont see it til October. Its sad, yes, but its reality.

And yes, if you want to have one of the first orders, you WILL have to go into the dealer that day.

I still think that force fed vehicles will roll before retail orders do. We are getting in 05 foci and escapes that we did not order ourselves, the first Escapes we DID order are just showing up(about 3-4 weeks after the first 05's so far).

So you are saying that orders will be before Job 1?

 

All I gotta say is that those who didnt wait and got theit mach's are so lucky right now. I want a stang to drive

NO no, not at all...Sorry for any confusion. I am just over anxious.

The dealer I am going with is very good so far. He knows what I want, and what I don't want. And out of all of them he is the only one listening to what I want, and not telling me what I need instead. Actually, my needs are quite simple- I want blue,I want manual, I want a v8 and I want a dark interior. Everything over that is a bonus.
