As some of you may know from the S197 Issues forum, I am currently driving a Focus while my Stang gets fixed. Here's my question to you, I put a CD in the Focus (which is not a Shaker, but looks the same and therefore probably made by the same manufacturer) and it works much better. The CD plays instantly, no delay in between tracks, doesn't take the better part of 3 seconds to begin a selected track. Any ideas?

As Any ideas?

Steal the radio from the Focus and put it in your 'Stang?

I've got the base radio in mine, I've never had a problem with it - but I'd assume the same mfgr as well... Ya never know though.

They may NOT be manufactured by the same company- only to Ford's nearly-identical cosmetic specifications.

the Shaker is custom designed by Ford Engineers specifically for the Mustang.... but the one you use, may be a copy of it....
