Just curious since I am ordering one - in the pictures I've seen of the interiors, there doesn't seem to be obvious controls for fine tuning (bass, treble, etc....) the Shaker System.

Can someone who has one let me know how you do those adjustments?....

Thanks!!!

Sure, I have it and I might remember how.

You click the "Menu" button I think it is on the right side of the stereo and it goes through different settings such as those, ASL, and clock settings. Don't worry, it's all there.

You use the Menu button to get to the bass/treble, etc. settings. Then you use the Scan arrow keys to adjust the settings. Here is a link to the owners manual that explains everything. Have fun !

And depending which shaker you have the 1000 you can turn the "Shaker" off just running the normal system with out the two 10's in the trunk.

YOu can turn the "shaker off"? That would be like turning an 8 cylinder down to a 6 cylinder. If you had the button to do that, would you? I think not!

Thanks for all the replies.

Its like a win-win - I can't wait to get my car - and I can't wait for the Shaker 1000 (I'm such a darn music nut...)

OS121 - thanks for the manual pdf!! That's excellent!

The volume compensation for the increase speed/noise is sweet - the switch off for the box in the trunk, the settings depending on how many passenegers in the car - all cool extras I didn't know about.

And Bluesman, gotta agree with ya - being the music psycho I am, the only time I'll switch off the box in the back is the a passenger asks me to (nicely of course )

Otherwise, that stinker is runnin' 24/7.
