Shaker door sub

The drivers side sub is working but the passenger is not working. I have replaced the amp and it is fine. It seems like the power is not getting to the other sub. Does anyone have any ideas on what this may be?

Could be a bad/loose connection somewhere. Sub could have a bad conncetion or bad terminal. Not likey, but the connection at the radio could be bad.
If you rule out everything else the only thing left would be to pull the sub and check it.

Is your stereo system all factory? Just trying to think of ways you can test it without pulling it all out....

If you get the diagram for the wiring you could try taking the input for the drivers sub and splicing it to the passanger sub just to see if its the subwoofer or not. Then if it works you can try doing it from before the amp to see if thats where its losing signal.

If all else fails you could pull the sub and test it with an external source like a home stereo or somthing. Kindof a PITA but it would tell you if the sub works or not.

Just had time to open it up. Whoever owned it before blew the amp then unplugged the sub. With both the amp replaced and the sub plugged in it now works. But I have also already ordered the kicker replacements.

O haha thats annoying. Glad you got it fixed. From what I've heard the kickers do a pretty good job, although You may find yourself wanting to throw some more power at them eventually lol.
