As far as pricing goes. The $1200 cost of the Shaker 1000 is applied whether or not you are adding it to a Deluxe (meaning basic radio) or a Premium car (which costs more but comes with the 500)

I thought that was a bit disappointing, but figured the $1000 rebate will pay for it.

Who the heck wants to watch a DVD when you have a Mustang to drive?
Actually, from how I read the pricing...The Shaker 1000 is $1770 ($1575 Invoice) on GT Deluxe AND $1295 ($1153 Invoice) On Premium Arrays

I had my current car nearly burn up from a custom installed job (one night my wires just "went". Sounded like a gunpowder fuse going off). Not only that, but they almost set me up with a two channel amp, and I only had a 10" Boston Acoustic sub/box. WTF? Cost me $1200 for the deck, sub, amp, but almost cost more with the fire. Luckily I was in the car when it happened. Imagine walking to your "frame" the next morning.

Unless you are a pro, and know how to install everyting yourself without fraying wires and what not, go with the Shaker 1000. I am.

Just my opinion.
