Unhappy Shaft bolts loose :-(

Hi.

Just imported this fine Mustang 2005. But in the official inspection ( control ) the inspector notified these shaft bolts were loose. ( see pic. )

Someone here have the right torque for the bolts, and maybe tell me, if they need some loctite.

Thank You.

Have a great day.

I believe they do call for Loctite and its not a bad idea IMO to use it either way. Tq spec I would have to google.

76 ft lbs is 103 Nm. Sounds a lot for approx. 1/4" bolts ???

Nothing worse than a loose shaft.

did you drive the car and notice anything knocking or clunking because of this? I ask because i'm having a problem and now I'm gonna go check my shaft bolts. When I stroke my shaft I did notice that it had some play

When i stroke my shaft i've noticed some play in mine also. I think its normal .

Maybe the last owner had a aluminum driveshaft and installed the factory one when it was sold? Maybe didn't tighten the bolts?
