I don't understand why Ford didn't go with four holes when they added the blackened out piece to the GT for the lower facia. The GTR's looks really good. Why add the honeycomb stuff? Stiffness?

Someone was telling me that it was in a window, visible to the public at the Wixom plant. I don't live near Wixon to check

I just don't get all this geometric noise. The stock Mustang is better design practice.

In my humble opinion, the following needs to be done..........

Make the wing a little less IN YOUR FACE

Make it red or black (Chaz, Bman, help me out........in the photoshop section of course )

The the car will make me sell my grandmother (and my German Shepherd) to raise the cash.

The wing is over the top, but is executed much better than the front in my humble opinion. I want to like the car, but it screems RICE to me.

Dang, I just noticed the horizontal joint in the wing strut supports so that the hood opens. I dispise this level of dishonesty. I hate the MF'n wing too now.

Ok, repeat after me:

"It isn't RICE if it's a purpose built race car with muscle to back it up...it's only rice if it's a wheezy little front driver with an obnoxious wing, ugly body kit, tacky stickers, and a fart can exhaust".

There, doesn't that feel better?

If you had taken pics of a production street Mustang with a big ugly wing like that I would problaby agree on the rice.

Nice pictures!

That reminds me of a scene from the movie Harold and Maude. If you've seen it, you'll know what I mean.

The wing serves a purpose on this car......it does not serve a purpose on every saturn you see on the road. This car has the ***** to back up any rice comment. I agree it was meant to capture the versitility of the 05 mustang...i think its beatiful. Look at the old cobra r and the wing it had on the back....it was huge...but it fit. ....it made the car distinct.

that wing looks nasty.... and while it may be functional to some hard core racer the reality is it will end up on a bunch of wanna be v-6's.

Anyone who owns a Porsche 911 Targa and still loves Mustangs is OK in my book.

I'm intrigued by that front fascia treatment. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that we're looking at the front end of the new Cobra...though I doubt they'll use the tiny stacked piaas - more likely a single, larger xenon projector.

This thing rocks, though personally I'd lose the spoiler and some of the pep boys do-dads. I want something classy AND American to beat the shyters out of the M3s and M5s.

I won't go on and on about the rear spoiler or any of that crap since I realize it is a "race car concept" and not a "street production car".

But here is my question:

The color Valencia Orange looks AWESOME in the pictures I have seen. Is it just as incredible in person?

I will go even further out on a limb .... A lot of what we see on this car will be on the next Cobra. Specifically front and rear.

Obviously a lot of people here haven't been to a race track with real cars onit ....

I'd buy it in a second ...

It's just as much yellow as it is orange. You can see the color in the very first picture is different. I remember it as somewhere in-between the two. However I must say that I had two strong Martini's from Cafe Felix in me, so it's all a blur now.

Allright, I give in, it's not rice.............................it's more Janet nipple ringish. B)

It keeps you from looking at the front of the chassis-work. The stuff in there always fades and rusts and gets bugs smashed all in it.
