Is there a service manual available out there for average joe's like me? I had the 4 inch thick service manual for my Probe and proved an invaluable resource. Would love to have this for the stang. Is there a .pdf version available somewhere?

Check out http://www.helminc.com They have the 3000-page shop manual for $145. Looks like no CD-ROM version, only paper.

You may want to check your ford dealer. I went to my local one and asked if they were available. Was told they were backordered and it would take 45 days or so. Did not order but was told there were three (Electricl/Drivetrain/General Shop Manual). For the shop manual, was told around $75- which may or may not be correct given what the cost was in the web site previously mentioned. Guess I will check again.
