I posted this in the Car Care section for advice on how to fix it. I'm posting here to see what you all think - is this something Ford should replace under warranty? As far as I can tell, these were like this from the factory, I just didn't notice until I first washed the car a week or so after I picked it up, and I haven't been able to get back to the dealer yet. The dull, smudge-like areas don't come off with washing. I've also waxed with Meguiars NXT and Cleaner Wax - no go. Here's some pics:

This next one is a result of me using Meguiars Scratch-X to try to remove one of the dull areas . doh!

So, even though I've had the car for 4 months, think I got a chance to have them replaced? Anyone have a similar problem with their rims?

 

I have had both the 18" Fan Blades and the 18" Polished Bullitt wheels and both seem do dull very quickly. Let us know if you have any luck with the dealer.
