I was having some of the same problems and I read on here to turn the "shuffle" off for manually skipping from one CD or song to the other (especially real fast) It works fine with it off then I just turn the "shuffle" back on after loading a different CD. Not really a fix but I can live with it for now as long as it doesn't get worse. Try it!

I have had ZERO problems with the new stereo. Could NOT be happier!

when you do the self test on the shacker the number that is displayed is not the one that revision "a" or "b" make reference too. mine ends in "g". i have asked my dealer to confirm, said they have to pull the unit to find out.
I have to agree. No one on the forum has confirmed the self test would stand for the series you have. My test ended in B, but today after 2 weeks of no trouble, it spit out my mp3 disc. Someone on a similar thread mentioned to just turn the radio off, then back on & start over re-loading the disc. So far, this has worked for me. I also noticed if you're too fast in pressing the folder buttons, or too hard, it could initiate a bad read, or switch back to AM/FM mode.
