I'm soooo sad. Yesterday Sebastian got a flat tire. I didn't have the proper lug wrench to change the tire b/c the one that came for the stock wheels did not fit the lugs on my new rims. It took quite a while before I managed to get the spare put on (thankfully, I had a little help). Plus, driving home on the highway at about 50mph in my new 05 was a bit embarassing. I think a man on a bicycle passed us! Tuesday the new tire I ordered will come in. Until then...I think I'm going through some bad Mustang withdrawl. Scroll down to see the damage:

Actually I hit a curb on the median in the left-hand turning lane. I'm not good at driving manual and I was on a hill. I gassed it so it wouldnt stall again, but the tires just spun. Then the back of the car drifted and made contact with the curb. Once it hit the curb, it ran up and over it and the tire burst.

That stinks. If you are having trouble with the manual, I recommend using the E-brake. That's what I did way back when I 1st learned to drive a manual and I was on a big hill. Use the E-brake till the gear starts to catch and then let off the E-brake slowly. This should prevent you from having to "gun" the gas and may prevent this from happening to you again.

2nd the e-brake way of doing hills until you get the hang of a manual.

Also...half your problem is the steering wheel is upside-down.

Nice looking car, sorry about the tire.
You'll probably also want to get your wheel alignment checked if you hit the curb that hard, you might have knocked it out of whack.
