What's the big deal with the trans having to relearn? It's not a big deal...and better then working with airbags with the battery connected...

There is an air bag in the passenger side of the dash that is activated when someone is sitting in the passengers seat? I know it was a stupid question but did you plug the seat back in when you reinstalled it? You should be able to pug it in with the seat all the way forward and access it from the back side.
