About to order my xmas gift, have the bugs been worked out or should I just get the 2?

 

I have an X3 and the last time I checked, most dealers aren't selling them until they have a guaranteed fix. I keep looking for a new update on the SCT website, but havent seen any.

For now, if your just going to buy a tuner with custom tunes loaded and then download one to your car, then you are safe buying the X3.

I think from what I have noticed, is when you try to get into the adjustments mode, that is where there is still some bugs.

Just for a follow-up on this. I spoke with SCT yesterday regarding a upload issue with my X3. After many debates and them reviewing my stock file, I ended up being the right one...

The problem....The X3 (or atleast mine), was saving stock file everytime I downloaded an updated tune to the car. I can understand saving stock if I flash it back first, but mine was doing it when I didnt flash back to stock, which led me to believe that it was possible that my stock file was overwritten by my race tune..

As I said, after sending them my stock file, they reviewed and agreed it was a race tune and it did get overwritten. It's not supposed to do that.

Anyway...long story short, he said a new firmware rev should be out anyday for the X3.
