2005-2009 Mustang Information on The S197 {Gen1}

Saw a Xenon and a GT (Ford GT, not pony) Fri!

The Xenon bodykit looks better in person, by far. Not so thrown together as it looked in the pics I'd seen. Hood scoop and side scoops had the insides painted to match the body, though, so they looked kinda crappy (car was SY, so instead of dark recesses to give the illusion of real scoops, they were SY and ruined the look). A better job with the paint and it might not have looked half bad. Interesting mirror covers, too.

First look at a GT, too. Man, I've got to get me a 2nd job! :worship:

does that mean you like the side scoops and mirror covers??

Wasn't sure on the mirror covers. Side scoops were ok, other than the paint job.

Not sure that I like the Xenon look, but I thought it looked a lot better than the pics online - the pieces on the lower portions of the car looked like they didn't line up well in the pics, but were better in person.

thanks for the reply, I have been thinking about getting the side scoops and possibly the mirror covers.
It is nice to have an opinion of someone who actually saw them in person.
