I had a chance to visit a couple of Ford Dealers in Michigan today. I'll post more details tomorrow but I got to see my first '05 - a Black on Tan (parchment?) auto GT. Here's a couple of pics - it was GORGEOUS!

The car looks so much better in person than it does in the pics - and even the pics are pretty awesome. They also have a Satin Silver/Black Leather GT 5 speed manual on the showroom floor but as you can see, I coud not get inside to take better pics since they were closed. The tint on the windows at the dealership almost made the car look bluish but it wasn't - it was definitely Satin Silver and drop dead gorgeous.
I also stopped by Jerome/Duncan (sp?) and looked but they had already sold the 8 that they said they got in last week. They also said they were not getting any more until March but I don't think that the salesman really had a clue.
However, they did have several '04 Cobras and Saleens - man, what a beautiful machine the Saleens are.
But back to the '05's. The black Auto is gorgeous and would definitely be my choice of color. I also saw a private owner driving a black GT on 8 Mile road - and the car was dirty! :bang: I couldn't believe ANYone who is lucky enough to have one of these cars would let it get that filthy in the first few days of ownership (it still had temp tags on it).
Anyhow, it was a great day and I can't wait to shop some more!

Thrus -- nice and sunny, almost everyone was washing their cars BUT THEN .. Fri -- about 50 something, rained ALOT and hard, lot of fog too Sat -- 73 out and 50 mph winds.
It's hard to keep cars clean for too long around here... especially in the fall.. you can never tell what the weather is gonna be like.
