Hey guys

I wanted to start a true discussion about Satin Silver.

I want to make sure it is the color I want to order.

I haven't seen it in person and was wondering if anyone could tell me a little more about it.

It looks blown out in pictures and a little bland. Is it that way in person too or does it look fuller - richer and sharper?

Any input would be much appreciated as I decide on the last detail before ordering this most amazing car.

Thanks.

It definitely looks better in person. Our local Ford dealership got a Satin Silver V6 Premium about a week ago... I'd definitely pick one up in it if you were set on it... I'd go see it in person first though. Believe me, it may just be a metallic silver but it looks nice. You may also want to get a GT in it... it looks a little better with the fogs... and I'm sure you'd appreciate the extra horses.

Its very sleek.

More elegant than some of the others. I didn't like it until I saw it in person.

I don't think pictures can do a metallic color justice, you have to see it person.

Ya know I almost ordered satin silver but all the pics I have seen, the silver looked dull. I'm sure it looks a lot better in person. I stayed with black just because it seems that every car out there is silver. The pros on silver. Very easy color to maintain. Looks clean even when dirty. Second silver shows off tinted windows the best. I also think the silver shows off the front end lights better than any other color. The one thing I hate about black on the new muzzy is that the front head lights blend in tooo much with the rest of the car . In other words - less accented appearance of the front end. Picking a color is a hard thing to do but add some nice wheels and get rid of those horrible tires any color would look great!!!

absolutely true- the picture looks grey. I swear its shinier in person.

I am more worried about the silver fading. Everyone keeps telling me I will live to regret if I get that color.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the colors, just pick what you like the best.

You should be able to go to a Ford Dealer and see the color on another car. They have a paint chip chart that shows which colors are on which cars.

Does the Silver color help accentuate the lines of this magnificent pony?

I was also undecided about the color in the beginning. I ordered my car without ever seeing this color in person. I ordered because I liked how Boomers 02 looked in pictures. I am extremely pleased with the color.

My 2 pennies.
This was the color I wanted. This is the color I ordered.
Until I saw it in person. In direct sunlight, it looks amazing.
Any overcast and I mean any makes the car look drab and gray at best.
It's kinda like the Sonic Blue. Great sometimes and others ocky.
My 2 cents for what it's worth.

I agree about the silver looking a little more grayish in certain light and less metallic. If you want a shiny metallic, then you may have to wait for the Titanium in 2006.
