Yeah I like them also because they have more of a traditional design also, it would seem for better flame propagation being more open. I'm definitely adding an air/oil separator took off the intake tube to armor all it up and there was a nice little puddle of oil in the throttle body!

I have the 3.55s and a Saleen blower... I would prefer to have 3.31s any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Why?

My first and most of my second gear is basically useless. Spins up way to fast and I don't get anything out of it.

It doesn't bother me enough to change them out though... but if I had the choice from the beginning... my car is an '06 so it came with the 3.55s

That was what I was kind of wondering. It doesn't change the fact that I eventually want one, but I was just thinking that when you start pushing the upper end of the speedo, that the gears are pretty steep and with FI, I would be much more likely to be up in that range, where I could either use another gear or gears that weren't as steep. Just thinking though.

I had 4.10s with the Saleen and loved it..... if you need help with traction, changing tires will help a lil bit.

Tom, did you have a manual trans with that setup? Did it seemed stressed above 110 mph or so?

As I mentioned, I still hope to add one someday, but curious on this.

Yes I had the manual trans. The car ran 11.7s at 119 in the quarter..... didn't have any problems over 110 mph. Went thru the traps in 4th gear, was nearing 6k rpm in 4th at around 120 mph.

Great purchase!! I've had a Brenspeed stage 2, since April 09, it's on my DD GT/CS vert. I have 4:10's, I don't have a 1/4 mile local track but in the 1/8, I have went through the traps in 3rd gear at 92 mph.
