I don't think it will matter much if at all if its lowered or not.

I agree. The dealer probably won't care, or even notice. I also agree that you're gonna take a loss on it. I'd consider putting it back as close to stock as possible and selling the mods separately. That might net you more.

well if you set it to stock you can sell the springs and shocks since you need money

Think about selling it yourself too, instead of trading it in. Traditionally you will make more money on a personal sale.

I am sorry to hear you are hitting some hard times. See it through as best you can, and you can always get another Mustang one day.

You'll do better returning it to stock and selling the parts yourself. Modified cars generally bring less money because everyone's tastes are different.

Broken record: take off all aftermarket parts, return car to stock, sell/trade in stock car, sell parts here or on eBay.

your tokicko d-specs wont add any trade in value at the dealership, but take them out and sell them here, and you could get close to your money back

You may want to sell the car yourself as well. They are easy as pie to sell on ebay, its the #1 car on there by far. Unless an extra $4k isn't worth the trouble...
