RPM OUTLET - on my bad list
I don't knock on anyone, but I would have to say all they do is dropship. I agree with BOLTZMAN I would pay a lawyer to write a letter. If you know someone, or otherwise it's like 275 roughly. We're talking about a few guys in a small rented garage with a UPS pickup with limited stock. Shake them up a little bit.
I'd expect people to do the same to us if we did that crap!
Have the lawyer write final notice before summons to small claims court. On top of that, do like the guy at www.fnsweet.com did. Just bash him every chance you get. You can do alot of things to harm me, but you don't touch my money.

I think since you made the request of return before the 15 days by law they have to take it back. Dell recieved my computer 2 weeks after my warranty ran out and i got a new comp because I called like a day before the warranty ran out because of some law. Might just be a warranty thing but you might want to try it.
Is it me or does RPM outlet's customer service suck? I recently ordered a MotoBlue fuel gauge/fuel rail adaptor that I learned won't work with the Whipple. I'm trying to return it, but they make it so freakin difficult that it's almost impossible. They make you request a return # before you can send it back. I've requested it twice and I get a generic email from them telling me to request the number. You only have 15 days to return it so I think this stalling technique is part of their plan. They say after 15 days they will not accept the return.
File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! http://www.bbb.org/

I wish people would see my posts and RPM would just fall off the Earth. Im out $100 because of their incompetence. It wasnt even just the return that was a problem, it was every other part of the process from shipping onward.
Here here!
I say we race over there, sneak in, and glue all their furniture to the ceiling.
...No, I've never bought anything from them before in my life...but I never miss a good opportunity to mix furniture with glue...

I gave on them up after waiting for six weeks for a Borla axleback which was on back order at the time and I was never informed about it. Then they kept a portion for "restocking fees" for an item they never shipped or ever even had for that matter. I fought and got all my money back but only after I got the credit card company involved. It sure left a sour taste in my mouth.
I have a great price on the Flowmaster's. Give me a call or PM me, as the price is too low to advertise. WE CARRY PARTS IN STOCK and have been in business as a retail storefront since 1979. We're not an internet-only company, and have references if neccessary! ASK FOR CR! THANKS
Also, the reason that certain companies sell parts so cheap on there is because they don't have the stuff in stock. Like those flowmasters at $269.99. They're typically around $279-329 depending on where you buy them from. If we didn't have them in stock we could take orders for the same price, and hit people up for handling charges, and collect interest on your money for the few weeks we have it tied up. But, that's bad business.

CR's right - we can't even buy them at the 269.00 price anymore - and we take them in 8 sets at a time normally to conserve on shipping. I don't know about the company in question, but I can say that it's expensive to keep the shelves stocked, and even more expensive when you have to have somewhere to put said shelves in the first place

I do the same thing. I can usually get a deal when I order a bulk amount, but after shipping to the customer, I'd probably be in the hole at that price.
Oh well, we can just do our best to help everyone out and still make a living!

Bah I'm not going into this more. Do a search on RPM and my name and I'm sure you'll find the multipage thread on it.
