OK... Brakes are coming up and I was planning on getting the RotorPros rotors to replace my stock ones.

BUT... I don't want to hassle painting them and other BS like that - if I am going to have rusty rotors then I might as well stay with stock and save $$$.

How disappointing.

Make sure you compare the cost......RotoPros are a very good bargain!! How much does the VHT paint cost per can??

My passenger side rear rotor cracked last week during cold weather. I sent an email with pics to Rich yesterday. I know from past experience he stands behind his product because my front rotors showed up with some shipping damage and he had another set out to me in a week. Any idea why I'm getting heavy wear to that rotor compared to the others?

Maybe your caliper is hung?

I think I paid about 20-25 for a can of clear coat. Not hard to paint when you do it when they are new before install

If you go with the Permium Rotorpros they come powder coated and the cost increase is minimal.

Here's a couple picture of them.

I've already replaced the caliper a little while back because the boot melted on the previous one.

That is the answer there to this whole thread. If you can pay the extra do it. The only thing you would need to clear coat for guaranteed protection would be the slots and wholes. I didn't buy these so that is not Rotor Pro's fault, it's mine.

Would this be the paint to buy?

Also, doing the hub and center section is obvious but has anyone actually painted the inside of the slots and holes?

My rotorpros are sitting in the basement, waiting for spring to arrive. Then painting the calipers and the parts of the rotor when I install

I also noticed my painted rotorpros are not painted on the outside lip and the "cooling fins"
as per 06GT4RAD
I wonder if they just forgot about that part?

I've had my zinc-plated Rotorpros rotors on for over a year with no rusting problems. Guess I've been lucky so far....

Any of you that mentioned you painted the slots and maybe the outer edge of the rotor have any pics?

Tomorrow is the day. Shes all cleaned up and ready for the painting of the calipers, and possible areas where the pad does not ride, and the slots and dimples

I am going with black, but I am having some second thoughts on the partial painting of the rotors.
I think the black outer edge may give them that smaller look.
