Gah , Im disappointed that the Concept rims in chrome dont come in 18in. The 'Concept' rim is the solid 5 spoke right?

These are the ones people are referring to as the "concept" wheels:

Anyoen have an Idea of how some Volk te37's would look?

I dont think it will look that big. Everyone has different tastes on how much sidewall they like. I think the 18's are perfect. TOO BIG would be going on over the 20" range IMO.

Ride might not be fun with 19's. Plus, tire will be more expensive.

I think every car has a rim size that fits the overall diameter of the rim/tire best.

For the last generation, it was a 17". For the 05 with a larger rim/tire diameter, I believe it is 18".

yeah. 18's are ideal on this car. Nothing more nothing less.
But just because 18's are ideal doesnt mean any other size wont look good. Im all for the 18's tho. I may end up with the 17's

Gaw...only fanblades for the 18s? I was hoping the 'concept' would be available in the 18.

I agree totally. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I don't believe in one shoe fits all that is why I said "I believe..."

Some may say 19's, some 18's, some 17's, some 22's :bang: . For me, I like the look of the 18's.

Hey burningman, what were the wheels you put on the centerfire? Those are my favorite so far.

Anyone have a good suggestion for aftermarket 18x9" wheels similar to these?

I know Edelbrock 454's are very close, but they are discontinued (I think) and are only 17". And besides, I'd need to know the exact bolt pattern before I even seriously considered this. I just LOVE the design of these wheels.

I'd like to see something like the Ford GT (40) concept had, I thought those were very cool.

As for the Bullitt wheels, I don't know but they're starting to get a bit overused, stale and trite to my eye. Retro to a point is cool, but beyond that point and it just starts looking plain retrograde rather than stylish and cool.

Perhaps if they came up with some very abstracted but quite modern interpretation of the Bullitt style to reference them but bring them fully into the 21st century, then that might be something interesting.

Guess I'm just not for dipping TOO deeply into the Retro-Well lest you start dredging up the mud at the bottom.

I feel the same way. The bullitts, while an excellent design, seem to be on every stang nowadays.

One of the reasons I like the 18's is that only a portion of the new stangs will have them, none of the old stangs will have them and they are a unique design.
