Which are we getting silver bullits, grayed bullits, or either one?

Sorry guys... I just read Boomers comment... I didn't know the 16's came with or without spinners.

I Have No Life
Yeah it was mentioned around time of unveiling that the 16 inchers come with or without.
I like the contrast on the gunmetal bullitts.
I really wish the 18s are out...and I'm either way on the the 2 17s out.
They'll be winter tires eventually anyway....

Maybe this is a silly question, but I've never checked out any wheels like those 16's. Do the spinners actually spin around freely, separate from the rest of the wheel? Or are they just called that?

They are called spinners or "knockoffs" that is how you would secure the wheel on a car with no lug nuts. ie. Indy race cars.
On a modern car they are just for looks and are fixed in place

Team Mustang Source
They are just called that from what i know (not much). The original racing rims of that era had "knock offs" that were how the wheel was held on (instead if lug nuts, similar to the GT-R wheel). The spinners became popular as a fake add-on that looked like the knock offs.
Edit - snakeeyes beat me to it.

Could someone take one of the pictures of the GT with the silver bullitts and photoshop the darker bullitts on it?? I tried...didn't look quite right.
Thanks.

There are a lot of images of every possible combination of car color, wheel type, etc. It's one of the most amazing features of Brad's site, trust me.
Boomer, or anyone else: So if I get actual work and get an actual GT and want 18 inch bullitts but don't want to wait on Ford - I order the car with whatever 18" option they have and then I get replacement wheels I like, right? Who should I visit and what should I expect to pay (assuming just as an example, that I do want 18 bullitts)? Can you give me an idea?

Now I know this has probably been asked but just for my clairification. Is it possible to use any of the rims from say the 2004's and back on the new 05, or have they changed the bolt pattern?
thanks

While they look close..the 05s are flater near the outside of the wheel.

And that design looks offset in the 04s, but not in the 05s.

I'm so disappointed that you can't get the Bullitts in the 255's.....Im either going to order the bullitts and have them throw on a set of 255's or just wait to get the 18in machined fanblades.
but the 17in Bullitts will give better performance since it's smaller and lighter
darn decisions
