Check out this video of a motorized front plate holder. Perfect for states that require front plate.

Still looks like that just flips down.

Big problem in mounting this thing. The plastic in the center of the opening below the bumber would cause you to mount the thing off center of the bumber. Would it be possible to cut that piece out so the plate will retract in the center of the bumper?

Can someone get a picture of under the bumper? I really want to see if I can make a custom plate so I don't drill straight into the front of the bumper, under it might be acceptable.

HAHAHA.

Wouldn't it be sweet if we could get some hi tech paint that didn't reflect radar/laser signals....like stealth paint. now that would be sick.

oh, and a rocket launcher and eject seat as long as I am dreaming.

Well I meant I want the style that changes plates. That would be awesome, but so is this.

Yes, it is very "Bondish." Glad someone does not take the internet to seriously.

What's wrong putting the plate off center? It'd only be up for certain..."incidents"...anyway.

Here's the link to a forum of where I found the video. However, the last post today says that this is not made any longer. :bang:

you guys have the idea of this all wrong...if you have front plates in your state you would have to have the plate showing at all times while driving as normal....this is an item for people that go to cars shows and dont want holes from the fron plate or the front plate showing during the show....you still need to drive with the plate up......or the popo will give you a ticket!

No...we know. We just don't want the plate up at all. And just pop it "up" (visible) only when pulled over. That's why.. " I coulda swore there was no plate in front." Can you get a ticket if there is a plate when he walks up front?

I know I am digging up old news, but I am still looking for all the items I missed while playing in the sand.

Did anyone actually try one of these out?

Searched and did not find a follow up anywhere else.
